Well Pipits,
I am playing catch up here so will keep this short and sweet.
Seven Pipits, plus our special Guest Leader, Bruce MacKenzie, came out to participate in the Fall Bird Count.
We also met up with a couple of birders from Long Point who knew their birds and how to count properly (it's hard, don't laugh at me lol), so were able to get them to share their eBird list with us.
Which is superb because a Northern Gannet was seen, and I was so distracted by trying to refind it I did a horrible job of counting waterfowl myself.
Many thanks to Bruce MacKenzie for guest leading the group today, and helping to waive the CA fee! Much appreciated. And thanks everyone for coming out and making it a fabulous day!
