Hello Pipits!
This SUNDAY we will visit the Niagara Falls area, with Marcie Jacklin as our guest leader!
Marcie has been birding for over 30 years. Currently she is the Niagara Regional Coordinator for the Second Ontario Breeding Bird Atlas (2021-2025) and Canadian Co-chair for the Birds on the Niagara: An International Winter Celebration http://www.birdsontheniagara.org/.
Gulling on the Niagara River can be exciting and on a good day over 10 species of gulls can be observed. This is one of the more challenging groups of birds to study in the wild but with any luck we may find some goodies.
We will meet at Queen's Royal Park in Niagara on the Lake at 9am.
Please check back here the week before the outing, in case this changes to a nearby location... I am still confirming details, my apologies (as of October 2023).
Looking forward to seeing those who can attend!
