Sand Flats of Manestar Tract, St. Williams Conservation Reserve, Norfolk County

Leader: Colleen Reilly, cell: 289.795.6537

Guest Leader: Chris Cheatle

We will meet at the roadside, along Concession 6, approximately 1km east of the intersection with Forest Farm Road: https://maps.app.goo.gl/qa7y9RGdrgj9KzMA9 Look for an open area, with a red gate to the trail on the left.

This SUNDAY we will be visiting a new-for-me location in Norfolk County, with our Guest Leader Chris Cheatle! Chris suggested a Pipit trip in early July to look for rare butterflies and plants in this area of unique habitat.

Note the parking is roadside, and Concession 6 is hard packed sand. Chris tells me there should be no driving concerns here. Be prepared to walk a distance, no wading. Dress appropriately, and bring lots of water! We will eat lunch on the road as there are no places nearby for dining.

Looking forward to seeing everyone who can make it!
