Hello Pipits!

This trip will visit two locations. In the late morning we'll meet up at the Long Point area. After about 5 hours here, we'll find somewhere for dinner for those who want to join us. After dinner, we will drive to the Hagersville area, to look for Short-eared Owls at dusk (around 7:30pm).

SATURDAY March 14 2026, at 11am we will meet at the parking lot of Birds Canada, in Port Rowan.

In 2025, the numbers of Sandhill Cranes being reported at Long Point were in the thousands at the Christmas Bird Count!

No one is obliged to come to Long Point, but everyone is welcome to. If you prefer to meet up in Hagersville, please let me know and I'll arrange a time and meeting location. Otherwise, see you at Long Point!
