This SUNDAY we will explore LaSalle Park in Burlington!

Leader: Colleen Reilly, 289.795.6537 (C)

Trip description: LaSalle is a shoreline park mainly, with some forest edges as well as shoreline. This location can be good for both songbirds as well as waterfowl. Often a single male Pintail duck can be seen here, along with lots of Trumpeter Swans.

Wear icers if you have them, the trail is often quite icy during the winter here.

Washrooms are available  in the form of portapotties on this outing (LaSalle only).

If time remains we could also head up to Gates of Heaven Cemetery, where we may see a Northern Shrike that sometimes overwinters here, along with Eastern Bluebirds and a few other songbirds.

Looking forward to seeing those who can attend!
