This Sunday we meet at 9am at the middle entrance to Gilkison Flats.
Gilkison Flats:
Terrain: A mix of paved and well-packed gravel surfaces, making it relatively easy, family-friendly, and wheelchair accessible.
Target Species: Across the river, this area hosts a mix of floodplains and remnant tallgrass prairie. It provides excellent cover for sparrows, swallows, flycatchers, and raptors. It is highly rated as a beginner-friendly hotspot on eBird's Gilkison Flats Page.
