Hello Pipits!

This WEDNESDAY we will be going to Colonel Samuel Smith Park, to meet up with Jean Iron and crew on Whimbrel Watch at Whimbrel Point! Jean will hopefully tell us a bit about this fantastic monitoring and research project. We'll stay and watch for Whimbrels for several hours with this group of observers, before we wander off through the remainder of the park looking for other migrants. If you have a lightweight folding chair you may want to bring it for the Watch component of the morning.
