Let's meet at 7am, at the Farm. We'll do a census walk there, and then head to Taquanayah CA. Unfortunately, there will be no banding to observe this trip. Hope to see you there!

Hello Pipits!
This SUNDAY we will be going to Rick Ludkin's Haldimand Bird Observatory; a bird banding station in Cayuga, at the Hurkman's Farm!
We'll be able to walk the trails, and complete a bird census (count), help out with jobs that need a bunch of helpers as we are able, as well as observe and possibly even get hands on with the banding operations!
This is an excellent way to get up close and personal with birds we otherwise see at a distance, and typically obstructed by branches and leaves.
