Hello Pipits!

This SUNDAY we will be going to Rick Ludkin's Haldimand Bird Observatory bird banding station in Cayuga, at the Hurkman's Farm!

We'll be able to walk the trails, and complete a bird census (count), as well as observe and possibly even get hands on with the banding operations!

This is an excellent way to get up close and personal with birds we otherwise see at a distance, and typically obstructed by branches and leaves.

Let's meet at the Hurkman Farm parking lot at 7am. It's an early start as banding begins at before dawn.

We'll see what we can see!

There is an outhouse washroom on this outing.

Terrain is rough, farm fields, rough trails, and some very wet areas to walk through - wear RUBBER BOOTS.

My phone number is 289.795.6537. Feel free to call or text me if you need.

Looking forward to seeing those who can attend!
