This SUNDAY I have organized an Algonquin Park trip, to explore the Park during Fall migration, and see what we can find.


Meet at 9am, at the parking lot of Mizzy Lake trail.

From here we will drive the Arowhon Road into the parking at the back end of Mizzy Lake - we will be walking on an old railway bed so the trail is flat and easy travelling. Our walk will take us into West Rose and another lake at the back side of the Mizzy Lake trail. Excellent for viewing wildlife - and beautiful scenery.

I don't yet have a plan for the remainder of the day - we'll see where the birds are. Trails that we might travel include the Lookout Trail, Spruce Bog Trail, and the Logging Trail. If you are interested in botany, there is a lovely patch of…
